Lizzie Grosso is a New York-based artist specializing in watercolor landscapes. Lizzie enjoys painting from life whenever possible and strives to create fresh, impressionistic images that capture the moment. Formally trained as a lawyer rather than an artist, Lizzie began painting in 2010 and has developed her skills through self-study and workshops with many celebrated watercolorists. During the pandemic, Lizzie was inspired to pursue her passion for painting more seriously and has since participated in numerous juried exhibitions and plein air events. Recently, she was awarded the Best of Montgomery award at the 2024 Hudson Valley Plein Air Festival, and the Best New Artist award at Plein Air Easton in 2025.
